Sailor Calligraphy 30th Anniversary Fude De Mannen Fountain Pen Special Edition

Sailor Pen is excited to announce that Fude DE Mannen, first released in Nov. 1995, celebrates its 30th anniversary this year!

Fude DE Mannen is a fountain pen fitted with a special nib having a tip bent at a 40-degree angle, enabling even people who find brush pens difficult to maneuver, to write brush strokes easily.

This fountain pen offers freedom of choice in stroke widths. Holding the pen upright results in fine lines, while holding at an angle result in bolder lines.

Due to this feature, the Fude DE Mannen is one of the most popular Sailor Pen fountain pens enjoyed as an instrument for drawing with color inks.

Short Cake is designed in the image of everyone’s favorite birthday cake with lots of whipped cream and strawberries.

Confetti Purple and Confetti Pink are designed in the image of confetti that adds to the fun of birthday parties. The dainty confetti motif is serigraphic onto the body.

Dawn Blue features Sailor Pen’s corporate color, a deep, dignified shade of dark blue.

30th Anniversary logo symbolically showcases the contrast of thin and thick lines that Fude DE Mannen enables, and the special nib design that is characteristic of this series.
